Divorce Care

Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce.
New Groups Starting
February 11, 2009

DivorceCare is a special group that helps you recover from the pain of separation and divorce. It’s a series of support groups and seminars conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing.
Most importantly, you learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

By interacting with people who are also experiencing separation and divorce, you’ll learn there are others who understand what you are feeling and will be able to offer you encouragement.

Divorce Care Design:
• There are two parts to each weekly DivorceCare session. After the welcome time, the group watches 30-40 minute videotape featuring top experts on divorce and recovery topics. The DVD’s contain valuable information about recovering from divorce and are produced in an interesting-to-watch television magazine format.
• Following the video, the participants spend time as a "support group," discussing what was presented on that week's videotape and what is going on in the lives of the group participants.

The topics are:
• What’s Happening to Me?
• The Road to Healing/Finding Help
• Facing Your Anger
• Facing Your Depression
• Facing Your Loneliness
• What Does the Owner’s Manual Say?
• New Relationships
• Financial Survival
• KidCare
• Single Sexuality
• Forgiveness
• Reconciliation
• Moving On, Growing Closer to God
